Our team works hard every day to educate and care for our students.

Head Director
Stephanie Lorentzen
My name is Stephanie, and I am absolutely delighted to introduce myself as the new Director of Rhythm and Rhyme Child Care. It is a true honor to join this caring, joyful community, and I’m excited to begin this journey with you and your wonderful children.
My path in education began with a Bachelor’s degree in Romance Languages, followed by two Master’s degrees in Education. I started my career teaching French and Spanish at the secondary level and eventually became Assistant Department Chair of the World Language Department. While I cherished those experiences, it was after becoming a parent myself—now to four amazing children, ages 17 and 10—that I discovered my true calling: early childhood education.
Working with children from infancy through age five has been the most fulfilling chapter of my career. These early years are full of discovery, growth, and boundless potential, and I feel privileged to play a role in nurturing young minds during such a formative stage.
Throughout my career, I’ve remained deeply committed to creating warm, engaging environments where children feel safe, inspired, and free to grow. I also believe that strong, open partnerships between families and educators are key to a child’s success. As both a parent and educator, I truly value the trust you place in us, and I promise to lead with that responsibility close to my heart.
I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to make your child’s early learning experience joyful, enriching, and full of rhythm and rhyme!

Assistant Director/Admissions
Ms. Clarissa
Hi, I’m Clarissa Trapani! I spent many years as an infant teacher, where I found deep joy in nurturing little ones and watching their first moments of growth. For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Assistant Director here at Rhythm & Rhyme. Working with children has always been a passion of mine. I love being able to take care of them, nurture and give them lots of love.
Working with children has always been my passion. I love caring for them, guiding them, and surrounding them with the love and support they need to thrive. Rhythm & Rhyme has been my home for 18 wonderful years—WOW! It’s a place filled with dedication, warmth, and an amazing team I’m proud to work alongside every day.
To the families who have entrusted us with your precious children, thank you. It’s a true honor to be part of your child’s journey, celebrating each milestone and watching them grow into their own unique selves.

Assistant Director
Miss Caroline H
Hi, I’m Caroline!
I was born in China and brought to the U.S. in 2002. My family opened this daycare center in 2007, in March 2025, my family retired and it’s been a special part of my life ever since.
Growing up around this daycare, I developed a deep love for early childhood care and the incredible energy children bring into a space. I started by working with older kids during summer camps, drawn to their creativity and enthusiasm. But over time, I found my heart most connected to babies and toddlers. There’s something profoundly beautiful about their innocence and pure view of the world — they remind me daily of the simple joys in life.
Outside of the daycare, I’m a big fan of video games, art, singing, K-pop, and reading (especially manga!). These hobbies keep me inspired and help me connect with the kids in fun and creative ways.
I’m so honored to continue growing this little community and helping raise the next generation with love, patience, and lots of laughter.

Assistant Director
Ms. Sue
I’m a proud graduate of Dominican College in Blauvelt, NY, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree. Before joining the Rhythm and Rhyme family, I spent five years working as a substitute teacher and one on one substitute teacher’s aide for special needs in the Warwick School District. Those early experiences helped shape my passion for working with children and supporting their growth.
I began my journey at Rhythm and Rhyme in 2010 as an assistant teacher. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow within the program—first becoming a lead teacher, and now serving as the Assistant Director. I’m certified in First Aid, CPR, and Medication Administration Training (MAT), and I take great pride in helping to create a safe, nurturing environment for every child.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work has been building lasting relationships with the children and families in our community. Many of the children here I’ve known for years, and it’s been a joy to watch them grow and thrive. Seeing them overcome challenges and reach their goals has been truly heartwarming, and I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of their journey.

Assistant Director/UPK Head Teacher
Ms. Christine
Hello, I’m Miss Christine. I’m proud to serve as the UPK teacher and assistant director here at Rhythm and Rhyme. With a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Education with a focus in Literacy, I bring both knowledge and passion to the classroom each day.
Since stepping into the role of UPK teacher in 2023, I’ve loved every moment of guiding my students as they grow into confident, Kindergarten-ready learners. It’s truly rewarding to watch each child develop their unique strengths and gain the skills they need to succeed.
I strongly believe that open communication between teachers and parents or guardians is essential to helping every child thrive. Together, we create a supportive and nurturing environment where learning, curiosity, and growth are always encouraged.

UPK Assistant Teacher
Ms. Reagan
Hello! I’m proud to call Warwick, NY my home for over 30 years. It’s where my husband and I have built a life together, raising our two wonderful daughters and growing deep roots in this beautiful community.
For more than 15 years, I’ve had the joy and privilege of working in Child Care—a field that continues to inspire and fulfill me every day. I'm honored to be a part of the Rhythm and Rhyme team, where I remain a dedicated employee, helping to nurture young minds through care, creativity, and connection.
Whether it’s singing along to a favorite song, guiding a child through a new discovery, or simply sharing a smile, I believe every moment matters. I'm grateful for the opportunity to support children and families during these important early years.

Head Teacher
Ms. Colleen
Hello! I'm Miss Colleen, and I've had the joy of teaching here at Rhythm and Rhyme for many wonderful years. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John's University, and I’m passionate about creating a classroom full of imagination, discovery, and laughter.
I especially love reading aloud to your children, exploring the wonders of Science, and designing rich Dramatic Play experiences. In our classroom, creativity blooms—we dive into art projects, explore creative writing, and find magic in everyday moments.
I’ve lived in Warwick my whole life—in the same house! It’s a special joy to be part of this close-knit community and to help nurture the next generation right here at home.
When I'm not in the classroom, I love to travel and learn about new places. At home, I share my days with a lively Aussie Doodle named Cassidy, two chirpy zebra finches, five ducks, three chickens, and three lovable Nigerian dwarf goats—Renoir, Degas, and Monet!
Every day in my classroom is a new adventure, and I truly believe that with every lesson I teach, there’s always something new to learn—especially from your children.

Assistant Teacher
Ms. Kyleigh
Hi, I’m Kyleigh! I’m currently studying Education and have always had a deep passion for working with children. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience through babysitting, which has helped me learn how to nurture, support, and connect with kids of all ages.
For nearly two years, I’ve had the joy of being part of the Rhythm and Rhyme team—a place that truly feels like home. I love working in such a fun, creative, and caring environment where every day brings something new and meaningful. Being at the center not only allows me to help children grow, learn, and express themselves—it also helps me continue growing as an educator.
I’m always excited to bring positive energy, patience, and enthusiasm into everything I do, and I feel so grateful to be part of a community that values the magic of early childhood.

Assistant Teacher
Ms. Yettive
Hi! My name is Ms. Yettive Vega—though most people know me as “Ms. Y.” I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and I bring with me the warmth, culture, and heart of the island everywhere I go. I'm a proud mother of two amazing adult children—my daughter plays professional volleyball in Puerto Rico, and my son is a wonderful father to my two beautiful grandchildren, who are truly my world.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in the History of Arts from the University of Puerto Rico in 1998, double majoring in Spanish Literature. After moving to Jersey City in 2010 and then to Matamoras, PA in 2023, I discovered my passion for working with children while teaching at daycare centers starting in 2014. What began as a job quickly became my calling.
What I love most about teaching is that no two days are ever the same. Every day brings new challenges, new laughs, and new opportunities to make a difference. Helping children discover their potential and watching them grow is incredibly rewarding—but I also learn so much from them. Each child I meet teaches me something new about patience, curiosity, and joy.
When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll probably find me out on a hiking trail, climbing a mountain, experimenting with a new recipe, or spending quality time with my family and friends. Life is always an adventure, and I’m grateful for every moment of it—especially those I get to spend helping children thrive.

Assistant Teacher
Ms. Nicole
Hi! My name is Nicole Murroni, and I’ve been part of the Rhythm and Rhyme family for about a year and a half. Working with children has always been a passion of mine—there’s nothing more rewarding than watching them learn, grow, and light up with curiosity. No matter what kind of day you’re having, their energy and joy are truly contagious.
I’ve been working with children since I was 16, and my journey began at Warwick Valley High School, where I graduated in 2021. During my junior and senior years, I attended the C-TEC program at Orange-Ulster BOCES to study early childhood education and development. I also had the opportunity to work as a paraprofessional for two years, supporting children with special needs—a role that taught me so much about patience, empathy, and the power of connection.
I recently earned my Associate degree in Psychology from SUNY Orange, and this fall, I’m excited to begin the Radiologic Technologist program. While my career path continues to evolve, my love for working with children remains a constant and meaningful part of my life.
Being at Rhythm and Rhyme has been such a joy, and I’m so grateful to be part of a team that shares the same commitment to nurturing young minds.

Head Teacher
Ms. Anne
Hi there! My name is Anne Morgan, and I’m proud to be part of the incredible team at Rhythm and Rhyme Child Care Center. Born and raised in Warwick, NY, I graduated from Warwick Valley High School in 2016. While I originally pursued cosmetology, it didn’t take long for me to realize my true calling—working with children.
With over 10 years of hands-on experience in early childhood care, I’ve found immense joy and fulfillment in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging space where children can explore, learn, and flourish. I’m currently back in school to earn my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, continuing to grow alongside the amazing little ones I care for every day.
It’s truly an honor to be a part of your child’s early learning journey. Thank you for trusting me to help guide, support, and celebrate them every step of the way!

Assistant Teacher
Ms. Sydney
Hello all! My name is Sydney and I will be going on my fourth year here at Rhythm and Rhyme! Prior to working at the center, I was a full time nanny for a family for about six years. I am lucky enough to still work for the family a couple days a week, as watching them grow has been a very special part of my life, as well as it has been with all of your children as well! Throughout the years, between Rhythm and Rhyme, private families and just being the oldest cousin on both sides of my big family, I have had a lot of experience with children of all ages- from infants to school age. I am currently in school studying for my Associates of Science degree in Information Systems. Until I graduate and start my new journey, I am very grateful to be a part of your little one’s lives! From watching some of their first steps to learning how to recognize and write their names, your children have been such a positive light in life that I am happy to be a part of until my new journey begins!

Head Teacher
Ms. Krystle
I’ve been working in early childhood education for 7 years, and it continues to be one of the most rewarding paths I’ve chosen. I hold my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, am certified in First Aid and CPR, and am MAT trained. I’m also currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education to further my knowledge and continue growing in this field.
Over the years, I’ve gained experience working with a variety of age groups in daycare and preschool settings. I’m passionate about creating a nurturing, supportive, and fun learning environment where children feel safe, seen, and excited to explore the world around them. I believe in the importance of strong relationships, not just with the children, but with families and fellow educators as well.
I entered this field because I genuinely love working with children and being part of their earliest learning experiences. It’s a joy to help lay the foundation for their growth and development, and I’m grateful to be part of the Rhythm and Rhyme team!

Assistant Teacher
Ms. Gianna
Hi everyone! I’m Gianna! I’m so excited to be starting my journey here at Rhythm and Rhyme. I’ve worked in childcare for about three years now, mainly with the littlest ones — infants and toddlers! Caring for children has always held a special place in my heart, and I feel incredibly grateful to continue building meaningful connections with each and every child here.
A little about me: I’m currently finishing my degree in Cardiovascular Ultrasound, and along the way, I’ve also become certified in phlebotomy, EKG technology, and medical assisting. When I’m not at Rhythm and Rhyme, I bartend on the weekends — I like to stay busy! In my free time, I love going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, and yes… I really like pickles.
My top priority is to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for your children to learn and grow. I truly value open communication between teachers and parents, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. I’m so thankful to be part of this amazing community and can’t wait to meet you all!

Head Teacher
Ms. Caroline C
Hi there! I'm Caroline Cottle, and I'm so excited to be the Saplings teacher here at Rhythm and Rhyme! I recently earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology and biology, and I’m currently pursuing my M.S. in Behavior Analysis and Interdisciplinary Autism Studies at SUNY New Paltz.
Working with children is truly my passion—I love helping them grow, learn, and discover who they are as they become the best versions of themselves. Creating a nurturing, engaging environment where every child feels seen and supported is at the heart of what I do.
When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me practicing yoga, painting, playing piano, enjoying live music, or adventuring with my family, friends, and my three lovable dogs. I’m so grateful to be part of the Rhythm and Rhyme community and look forward to learning and growing alongside your little ones!

Head Teacher
Ms. Tiffany
Hello! My name is Tiffany Ramos, and I’ve been proud to be part of the Rhythm and Rhyme family for the past five years. I'm currently pursuing my studies in Early Childhood Education with the goal of becoming a teacher.
During my time here, I’ve had the opportunity to learn and grow alongside the wonderful children and dedicated team at Rhythm and Rhyme. Each day brings new experiences, and I’ve truly enjoyed being a part of each child’s learning journey.

Assistant Teacher
Ms. Edna
Originally from Brazil, I moved to the United States in 2018 after retiring from a long and fulfilling career to care for my two wonderful granddaughters. For 37 years, I had the honor of serving as the Executive Assistant to the CEO, President, and Directors of PPG Industries, Inc.’s South American division. Prior to that, I worked at the University of São Paulo in the National Nuclear Energy Commission, contributing to important academic and scientific efforts.
In June 2023, I joined the team at Rhythm and Rhyme, where I find so much joy being surrounded by the sweet energy and curiosity of young children each day. It’s a place that fills my heart and reminds me of the simple joys of life.
I hold a degree in Portuguese Language, and I am also a certified yoga instructor and Reiki Master—practices that help me stay grounded and present. Since moving to the U.S., I’ve built a beautiful life in Warwick with my partner Eric, and I cherish the close bonds I share with my American and Canadian family.
Each chapter of my life has brought unique experiences, and I feel grateful to be in a place where I can continue to grow, give back, and be surrounded by love and learning.

Assistant Teacher
Ms. Jeanette
Working with children has been one of the greatest joys of my life. As a mother of five and proud grandmother of three, I’ve spent over 30 years caring for children of all ages—both in my own home and within my community. Whether I’m supporting learning, offering a listening ear, or planning a fun, engaging activity, my heart has always been in creating spaces where children feel safe, valued, and free to be themselves.
Originally from the UK, I completed formal classroom assistant training and worked in primary schools supporting children ages 3 to 11. I loved being part of the school day—helping with lessons, guiding play, and being a steady source of encouragement and care. That experience shaped my nurturing approach and deepened my understanding of how to support each child’s growth.
Outside the classroom, I’ve provided before and after school care for local families, always striving to make each day feel special. Since joining Rhythm and Rhyme, I’ve been truly grateful to continue doing what I love most: helping children build confidence, discover new things, and feel celebrated every step of the way.
