September 2025 📬 Rhythm & Rhyme September Newsletter 🍎 Fall 2025 Edition | Welcome Back! Dear Rhythm and Rhyme Families, Welcome to a brand-new school year! We are so excited to see familiar faces return and to welcome all the new families who are joining our community. We hope you had a wonderful summer and are ready for a fun-filled year of learning, growing, and exploring together. Our dedicated staff has been working hard to prepare classrooms full of love, laughter, and learning—and we can’t wait to share all the exciting things we have planned for the month of September! 🍎 September Themes To kick off the school year, our themes for the month will be: Getting to Know You – Building classroom community and friendships Family – Celebrating the special people in our lives Feelings – Helping children recognize and express emotions Apples – A fun, seasonal topic full of hands-on learning These themes are a wonderful way to ease into the school year and encourage social-emotional growth, creativity, and a love of learning. 📸 Family Photos Needed! As part of our Family theme, we are kindly asking each family to send in a family photo. These will be displayed in the classrooms to help your child feel connected and comforted throughout the day. You can either: Send a printed copy in your child’s backpack, or Send a photo directly to your child's teacher via Brightwheel. Thank you in advance for helping us create a warm, family-centered environment! 📅 Important Dates to Remember September 8th – Open House (Infant & Toddler Rooms) | 6:00 – 7:00 PM September 9th – Open House (3-Year-Old & UPK Rooms) | 6:00 – 7:00 PM September 18th – Visit from Orange County Pediatric Dentistry 🦷 September 20th – Warwick Homecoming Weekend September 23rd – WVCSD Closed for Rosh Hashanah – UPK Closed We encourage all families to attend their designated Open House night—it’s a wonderful opportunity to meet the teachers, explore the classroom, and learn more about what’s ahead this year. 💉 Health Records Reminder Please ensure that your child’s physicals and immunization records are current, and submit a copy to the front desk or your child’s teacher. This is important for maintaining accurate health records and staying in compliance with regulations. 📞 Questions? If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can communicate your change on Brightwheel with an Admin message or email us at assistantdirectors@rrchildcare.com It is important to let administration know of any allergies, illnesses or medications that your child is taking. Medications cannot be left in the children’s bags and must be brought to the administration office. Please sign in and out of Brightwheel as you do now. It is important to sign in and out of Brightwheel, as this shows that your child is in attendance or has left for the day. While we do keep manual records of attendance for every child, oftentimes the Brightwheel app shows your child left well after we have closed. If you need assistance checking in or out, please see one of the directors. If you have any updated immunizations, change in pickups or contact information; please provide this information to the administration office. Please note that we will not release your child to anyone that is not on your authorized pick up list. If you need to make a change, please do so in writing.

October Newsletter 2025 🍁 Rhythm & Rhyme Newsletter – October 2025 🍁 Fall 2025 Edition | Welcome Fall! Dear Families, Fall is in the air, and with the cooler weather approaching, we have a fun and festive month ahead at Rhythm and Rhyme! Please take a moment to read through this month’s updates and reminders to help us make October safe and enjoyable for everyone. 🍂 Seasonal Reminders Cooler Weather: Please send in a warmer change of clothes for your child. Teachers will return any summer clothing once fall attire has been received. Outdoor Play: We go outside every day, weather permitting! Be sure your child comes in a light jacket or sweater and closed-toe shoes. 🎨 October Themes This month, we’re exploring the following exciting themes: Community Helpers Tree Study Pumpkins Halloween Fun Look for activities, crafts, and stories that tie into these engaging topics! 🎉 Classroom Party & Halloween Festivities Classroom Parties will take place on Wednesday, October 30th and are for children only. A sign-up sheet for party items will be posted outside the classrooms—thank you in advance for your contributions! 🎃 Trunk or Treat & Halloween Parade Join us for our first Trunk or Treat and Halloween Parade on 📅 Friday, October 31st at 11:30 AM Important Details: A sign-up sheet will be posted on the Administration door, for families who wish to decorate their trunks and hand out treats. Space is limited, so please sign up early and it is first come, first serve. We kindly ask families to avoid goodies that may trigger allergies—we have approximately 70 children participating. For our youngest class, our Acorn families, if you decide to participate in this festivity we kindly request that you utilize your stroller and partake in the parade with your child. For toddlers and older children, please send in costumes labeled with your child’s name—teachers will assist with dressing. No masks or toy weapons allowed at the center. Families are invited to wait outside to watch your child’s class during the parade. Thank you for helping us maintain a smooth flow! 🗓 Important Dates 10/2 – No UPK (Yom Kippur) 10/9 – Fire Department Visit for Fire Prevention Week 10/13 – No UPK (Columbus Day) 10/15 – Lions Club Vision Screening: Permission slip will go home on Oct. 1st 10/23 – WCPA Dance Demo for 3’s and UPK 10/30 – Pumpkin Patch & Classroom Parties (children only) 10/31 – Halloween Parade & Trunk or Treat – 11:30 AM Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
