Three-Year-Old Pre-K Program
Bridging Toddlers to Pre-K Learners
Our Three-Year-Old Pre-K Program is designed to support children as they make the important transition from toddlerhood into early childhood education. Recognizing the incredible growth that happens during this year, we offer two classrooms tailored to meet children where they are developmentally:
-
Young Threes Classroom: A nurturing space that gently introduces more structure and group learning experiences while supporting the ongoing need for exploration and independence.
-
Older Threes Classroom: A setting designed for children ready to engage in more complex routines and activities, preparing them for the structure and expectations of our Pre-Kindergarten program.
Individual Growth, Shared Goals
Both classrooms follow the same thematic curriculum and use developmentally appropriate practices, ensuring consistency in content while allowing flexibility to meet the needs of individual children. The emphasis is on:
-
Building social-emotional skills
-
Encouraging early academic exploration
-
Strengthening communication and self-regulation
-
Fostering independence and confidence
As children grow and demonstrate readiness, they may transition into the Older Threes classroom mid-year. There, they’ll continue to grow alongside their peers and prepare for the next big step: Pre-Kindergarten.
A Thoughtful Step Toward School Readiness
This program offers the perfect balance between nurturing care and school readiness. With a mix of play-based learning, group activities, and early academic foundations, children gain the skills and confidence needed to thrive in their Pre-K year and beyond.
